Indication

To treat numerous bacterial and protozoal infections such as amoebiasis (all forms), giardiasis and
trichomoniasis (of the genitourinary tract in males and females). Metronidazole treats infections caused by
anaerobic microorganism (ex. brain abscess or meningitis, pneumonia or other lung infections, bone and
joint infections, skin infections and infections of the internal organs (including liver abscess, peritonitis and
infections caused by Helicobacter species).
