Indication

Treatment of type 2 diabetes in adults: as second-line therapy, when diet, exercise and initial treatment with metformin or glibenclamide (or another sulfonylurea) do not result in adequate glycemic control; as replacement for previous treatment with metformin and glibenclamide in patients whose glycemia is stable and well-controlled.
