Indication

Indicated for the initial or intensive phase treatment of new and re-treatment cases of pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis (TB) caused by susceptible strains of mycobacteria.

New patients: Never had treatment for TB, or have taken anti-TB drugs for less than1 month. These patients may have positive or negative bacteriology and may have disease at any anatomical site.

Previously treated patients: Patients who have received 1 month or more of anti-TB drugs in the past, may have positive or negative bacteriology and may have disease at any anatomical site.
